Centrally located at Banbury Community Centre, we are surrounded by a scenic wooded parkland, a river with ducks, 4 tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, a giant sandbox, and a playing field. This rustic setting is ideal for a day camp!

Banbury Kids Day Camp is a non-profit summer program that was started by a volunteer parent committee in affiliation with North York Parks and Recreation. We offer a unique summer program for children ages 3-8. Our goal is for our campers to enjoy a wonderful fun-filled experience in a caring, enthusiastic and creative environment. A low camper/counselor ratio helps each child feel comfortable and secure whether it is their first camp experience or not. We hire teachers, ECE’s, student teachers, experienced counselors, counselors in training, and individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and for working with children. All references are checked thoroughly.

APPLICATIONS REMINDER:
Applications for our 2012 summer will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
Priority will be given to returning campers and their siblings until October 20, 2011. Applications will be numbered as they are received and campers will be notified of acceptance by email. Completed applications, together with a deposit cheque and a cheque for the balance, are to be mailed to:

(Applications will not be picked up from the Banbury Community Centre).

Children born in 2009 are MORNING OR FULL DAY.
Children born in 2008 are MORNING OR FULL DAY.
All other children are FULL DAY CAMPERS ONLY.

All Campers will have opportunities to experience special guests, out-of-camp trips, engaging programming, and more. Full day campers will also experience a fabulous swim program, snack at the end of the day, ½ day programs, and a pizza lunch every Thursday.

MORNING AND FULL DAY PROGRAM
Our MORNING PROGRAM runs from 9:00 - 11:30 and is available for 3 yr. olds. (Child must be 3 years old by December 31, 2012 and must be TOILET TRAINED)

Our FULL DAY PROGRAM runs from 9:00 - 3:00 and is available for 4 - 8 yr. olds. (Child must be 4 years old by December 31, 2012)

Please note: Camp finishes at 12:00pm on Friday, August 26th. (Except for group 1 which will end at the regular time of 11:30am)

SWIM PROGRAM

Banbury Kids Camp has a fabulous swim program that combines formal swim lessons with some recreational swim. Our entire camp will be swimming at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Pool this summer. The program is based on the Red Cross Aquaquest Program. The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Pool will be closed to the public during the time that Banbury Kids campers will be swimming. Buses with seat belts will transport the children to and from this facility.

Please note: Campers will not be swimming at Holland Bloorview Kids Hospital in the 8th week of camp. In its place will be additional fun and creative programs.
